Top Reasons to Work at Bimbo Bakeries USA: Salary Range: $54,800 - $71,300 Comprehensive Benefits Package Annual Bonus Eligibility 401k & Company Match Position Summary: Primary Objective: The Financial Analyst is responsible for analytical and operational support of financial management at BBU for key areas of Supply Chain Logistics. Overview: The Analyst will ensure the accuracy of all processes in support of properly accounting for and reporting on Logistics costs and activities for BBU. This work will include supporting monthly close processes, annual budget build, expense validation, and ad-hoc reporting. The Analyst will need to build relationships across various business units and with other internal partners to ensure completeness and reasonableness of all day-to-day business activities and their related financial impacts. This position reports to the SC Logistics Finance Director for BBU.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting
  • Ability to work independently and participate as a team player in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and accounting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment

Responsibilities

  • Support month and year-end close processes for Supply Chain Logistics to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial results
  • Manage system validation of transportation activities with third party audit platform
  • Contribute to the post close operational analysis to identify and evaluate variances and provide narratives to leadership and business partners
  • Compile and analyze key performance indicators
  • Assist in developing new processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient management of overall information collection, consolidation and communication relative to critical Supply Chain Logistics activities
  • Other duties as assigned
