About The Position

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy by turning complex data into insights that drive real business decisions. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure as required by the New York State Gaming Commission
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a data/analytics-focused discipline
  • Must possess 1+ year of relevant experience in finance, analytics, database marketing, banking, or aligned finance operational internships, preferably within the hospitality industry such as a hotel, resort, or casino setting
  • Must be available to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Microsoft Excel skills with hands-on experience using advanced functions, data models, and automation
  • Exhibits a deep working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to read, edit, and enhance queries
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing recurring reporting cadences and deadlines
  • Collaborative communicator who can clearly explain analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with a strong focus on trend, labor, and performance analysis
  • Work extensively in Excel (pivot tables/charts, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA) and Oracle to manage and analyze large datasets
  • Write, read, modify, and enhance SQL queries, tapping into multiple databases and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and insight
  • Partner closely with operations, marketing, finance, and enterprise analytics to understand the business beyond the numbers
  • Support property-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in collaboration with Corporate FP&A
  • Prepare and present analyses, insights, and recommendations to leadership
  • Handle ad-hoc analyses and special projects as business needs evolve
