About The Position

This position will be a critical part of the Supply Chain Finance team. The Analyst will report to the Director of Global Supply Chain Finance and support procurement activities and analytical insights to achieve business goals. This role will leverage data and financial analysis to support the procurement team in the development of strategies aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities also include providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support procurement initiatives, drive savings, optimize working capital, and support value propositions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant finance, supply chain finance, or procurement analytics experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and PowerBI (or other business intelligence tools).
  • Financial modeling, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into actionable insights.
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize financial performance, especially relating to procurement and working capital initiatives.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial data into business narratives.
  • Effective interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute analytic reports to support the procurement management team in strategic decision-making and profitability improvement.
  • Provide timely and accurate data analysis to inform procurement strategies and supplier negotiations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Business Unit Finance teams to deliver analytics and insights that support sourcing initiatives and broader business goals.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance reporting dashboards and KPI scorecards using PowerBI and other analytics tools.
  • Quantify, track, and report cost savings initiatives, including price negotiations, value engineering, and supplier optimization efforts.
  • Provide regular predictive analytics, business planning, and scenario modeling to identify and address risks and opportunities within procurement.
  • Support One Tyson approach by promoting consistency, collaboration, and efficiency across procurement finance operations.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, change management, and efficiency in procurement processes.
  • Support working capital optimization initiatives by analyzing payment terms, inventory strategies, and supplier programs.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support key projects, procurement initiatives, and leadership requests.
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable reporting and recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop financial models and simulations to evaluate supplier proposals, RFPs, and sourcing events.
  • Maintain financial integrity and control by ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to corporate policies.
