Brown & Brown is seeking Finance Analyst SR. to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL! The Senior FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Director of FP&A and business leaders across the organization to provide financial insight, advanced modeling, and data-driven analysis that supports strategic decision-making. The role contributes to financial planning processes, operational analysis, and initiatives related to organizational design, target operating models, and evolving business structures. How You Will Contribute: Consolidate, analyze, and interpret financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and operating results. Support annual budget development, periodic forecasting cycles, and financial planning across multiple business units. Build advanced financial models and analytical frameworks that guide business planning and investment decisions. Perform detailed variance analyses to identify key performance drivers and trends. Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive‑level presentations that communicate clear insights. Support organizational structure changes, operating model design, and business transformation initiatives. Evaluate operating structures, cost allocations, and efficiencies through financial modeling. Analyze financial and operational data to inform scalable business models and long‑term financial strategies. Partner with business leaders to assess financial impacts of strategic and operational initiatives. Enhance reporting, analytics, and data structures; help develop dashboards and tools for real-time insights. Contribute to month‑end and quarter‑end reporting and prepare executive reporting packages. Demonstrate strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to problem‑solving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with financial reporting tools or analytics platforms (Power BI, Adaptive Insights, Workday, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and developing financial insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize financial and operational information to support decision-making.
