About The Position

The Finance Analyst II position at Ahold Delhaize USA is a hybrid role focused on financial analysis and reporting within the FP&A team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide financial insights and projections to support HR, Communications, and Business Services functions. The analyst will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in creating presentations with thoughtful analysis, and identify key action items for decision-making. This position requires competency in core finance disciplines and may involve rotation between different finance areas based on business needs.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Articulate and effective communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP and financial planning platforms (e.g., SAP & BPC).
• Experience with data analysis/visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Execute the company's financial planning and reporting processes for supported areas, including 3YP, annual budget, in-year forecasts, and latest estimates.
• Serve as a key partner in financial performance management to provide a clear understanding of results and actionable insights.
• Provide analytical support on labor and headcount related reporting and analysis, including monthly reporting and headcount forecasting.
• Partner with HR and business on position requisition processes and headcount costing estimates.
• Participate in the FP&A analyst forum to foster team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous process improvements and efficiencies, identifying opportunities to streamline through automation.
