About The Position
Humana Inc. is currently seeking Finance/Accounting interns for its Winter 2025 rotation, which will commence in mid-January 2025. This internship offers students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting within a dynamic industry. Interns will rotate through various areas of Finance and Accounting, gaining valuable experience and exposure to multiple departments within the organization. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the financial operations of a leading healthcare company, allowing interns to engage in a variety of activities and assignments. Interns will be responsible for creating financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and communicating with associates and leadership regarding financial information. The program is structured to allow students to rotate into a new department approximately every six months, with potential rotations including Accounts Payable, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Treasury, Healthcare Economics, SEC Financial Reporting, and Corporate Strategy. This hands-on experience is invaluable for students looking to build a career in finance or accounting. Candidates must be within a daily commutable distance of Louisville, KY, as there is an in-office requirement. The internship requires a commitment to work year-round, with interns expected to balance their academic responsibilities with their work assignments effectively.
