Finance & Accounting Lead - REMOTE
About The Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will oversee the outsourced Finance & Accounting operations for a regional banking client, playing a crucial part in ensuring the execution of financial close, consolidation, and transactional processes. You will act as the primary liaison between the banking client and our partner, focusing on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will facilitate seamless collaboration across teams and drive improvements in financial performance and service delivery metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in banking processes
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
- Experience managing outsourced finance functions or BPO engagements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the Bankâs outsourced finance team across AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Establish and manage SLAs, KPIs, risk controls, and escalation protocols with the service provider.
- Conduct weekly/monthly governance reviews to assess performance, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendar, ensuring timely journal entries, reconciliations, and validations.
- Manage the end-to-end integrity of transactional processes including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Treasury Operations, and Loan Operations.
- Support preparation and review of internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SOX-ready controls.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and financial data integrity.
- Drive efficiency initiatives across the finance value chain, focusing on automation and digital transformation.
