We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records while leveraging your analytical skills to provide valuable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to both day-to-day accounting operations and enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration) and 2 years of related experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of GAAP, with a willingness to learn and apply key principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new software. Experience with existing tools is a plus.
- Experience in data analysis and working with large datasets; data visualization experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial data.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements across financial and operational datasets.
- Assist in calculation and management of regular sales performance incentives and coordinate with payroll department on compensation-related items.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to maintain precision and completeness in financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of financial performance.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ensure consistent operational and financial reporting while adapting to evolving requirements.
