About The Position

Temp RPM Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Final Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing of fiber optic components and cable assemblies. In this hands-on role, you will inspect, verify, and approve products throughout the production process, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with Standard Measuring Instruments (SMI) such as calipers, gauges, rulers, and meters.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
Basic math, computer, and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of fiber optic cable assemblies using precision tools (calipers, scales, rulers, gauges, and other measuring instruments).
Read and interpret customer drawings, internal blueprints, sales orders, and contracts.
Verify that production meets all specifications, contractual requirements, and Insertion Loss (IL) test reports.
Conduct in-process inspections to confirm conformance to drawings and work instructions.
Approve finished products and documented reworks (per Trouble Sheets or NCMRs).
Generate Certificates of Conformance (C of C) and accurately document inspection results.
Identify, document, and report non-conformances.
