YOUR DAY TO DAY: This position will perform Mechanical Inspection or Parts & Product and visual inspection of product working with CMM programming..

Requirements

  • Previous inspection experience.
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Experience with prints, working to drawings.
  • Experience with mechanical measuring tools.
  • Experience with surface plate setups and electronic height gauges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers in a team environment.
  • Good communications and strong customer skills.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Inspection of Parts & Product to requirements using mechanical inspection tools (micrometer, vernier, micro-hite gauge, thread gauges, optical comparator, etc.)
  • Perform inspections by reading and interpreting prints and drawings.
  • Visual inspection of product for workmanship issues.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
