About The Position

The position involves inspecting forgings to ensure they conform to specifications as outlined in blueprints and work orders. The inspector will utilize various measuring instruments, including rules, calipers, surfaces, gages, micrometers, scales, vernier, and sine plates, to identify defects and determine their causes. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of quality and dependability that Precision Castparts Corp. is known for.

Requirements

• Experience in quality inspection or a related field
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
