About The Position

Are you interested in joining a dynamic, fast-moving team working with cutting-edge equipment and technology? Blentech Corporation, a manufacturer of custom food processing systems, is looking for a Final Assembly Technician I to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. For over 35 years, we have blended function, durability, sanitary design, safety, and performance into the design and construction of Blentech systems. Our team is driven, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile. We are looking for a Final Assembly Technician II, to join of our manufacturing team, responsible for the assembly and disassembly of large, completed machines. This is not a bench assembly position. You'll be working with large motors and valves on machines that can produce 10,000 lbs. of cooked meat an hour and may require 3-6 trucks to ship. This is a dynamic work center where priorities can change at a moment's notice, so flexibility is a must. You will also interact with a variety of people, including customers.

Requirements

• Experience with stainless steel and strong mechanical aptitude are essential
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Willingness to be flexible and shift priorities based on production needs
• Basic computer skills for work order and timekeeping systems

Nice To Haves

• A driver's license is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train and certify the right candidate
• Welding experience is also a plus

Responsibilities

• Completing the final assembly of machines for customer demonstrations.
• Partially disassembling machinery for loading onto trucks and shipping containers.
• Assisting the manufacturing team as needed.
• Using computer skills for work order management, timekeeping, and reporting.
