About The Position

A Final Assembler is responsible for assembling the final touches accurately to ensure a quality product is produced.

Requirements

• No required education or job experience.
• Ability to learn and retain on the job training.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating staplers, nail guns, hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.
• Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and paperwork.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Install hardware such as hinges, pulls, knobs and drawer tracks using hand tools.
• Drawer box installation.
• Ensuring quality of product.
• Safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools.
• Ensure work orders are completed successfully, on-time, and meet customer specifications.
• Final inspection on product prior to delivery.
• Work efficiently while paying attention to detail.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Participate and contribute to a “Team” environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
