The FinOps Strategist will spearhead the implementation and adoption of a centralized FinOps platform, supporting the establishment of policies and practices that enable research teams and administrators to maximize the value of their cloud investments. This role involves collaboration with Cloud Service Providers and resellers to build data pipelines and enhance collaboration. The strategist will design and implement KPIs for tracking cost allocation, cloud spending, and optimization metrics. Additionally, they will provide an escalation path on FinOps best practices and resolve billing inquiries for client experience and junior FinOps personnel. Comprehensive documentation of institutional practices and procedures will also be a key responsibility.
