About The Position

Galaxy is seeking a Financial Operations (FinOps) Associate to support the COO in managing the day-to-day financial operations of an exciting new initiative within Galaxy Digital. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination across our internal teams, our parent company Galaxy Digital, and our external partners. Our financial operations heavily focus on supporting the daily activity related to our customers' various platform activities and financial activity with our partners and vendors. You thrive in driving cross-functional collaboration amongst internal and external teams, including technology, product, client services, finance, compliance, legal, and marketing. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is passionate about supporting high-performance teams in a dynamic setting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial operations or project management, within technology-driven, financial services environments.
• Proven ability to manage daily operations and support cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, including banking, brokerage, and crypto services.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, parent companies, and external partners.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and facilitate meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fintech startup or consumer-product-focused company.
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with tools like Excel, Tableau, or Google Analytics for operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cross-functional financial operations and client escalations across technology, product, client services, finance, compliance, legal, and marketing teams
• Act as a liaison between our internal team, parent company Galaxy Digital, and external partners, facilitating communication, resolving operational bottlenecks, and ensuring alignment on shared goals.
• Monitor operational workflows, track key performance metrics, and prepare reports or dashboards to provide insights on efficiency, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, reduce redundancies, and enhance cross-team collaboration in a dynamic environment.
• Handle ad-hoc projects, such as vendor management, resource allocation, and event coordination, to maintain momentum across financial operations.
• Contribute to risk management by flagging potential issues early and assisting in the development of contingency plans.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence by organizing knowledge-sharing resources and feedback loops.
