About The Position

Due to continued demand of A. O. Smith Water Treatment products, we are looking for Assembly Operators (1st Shift). As an Assembly Operator, you will be assisting in the manufacturing of water softeners and other water treatment products which includes (but is not limited to): Assembling water filters Assembling small components Assembling water softener tanks Assembling water softener tank to cabinet Testing water softener to meet specified standards Lifting, pulling and reaching overhead at least 25+ pounds

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Measurement/mathematical skills
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use electronic information.
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Assembling water filters
• Assembling small components
• Assembling water softener tanks
• Assembling water softener tank to cabinet
• Testing water softener to meet specified standards
• Lifting, pulling and reaching overhead at least 25+ pounds
