We are currently hiring for a Filter Assembler I in our Ashland location. This position will manufacture filters according to detailed instructions and specifications. The role involves basic assembly tasks and working under close supervision to ensure the production of quality filters.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent; on the job training provided.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble filter components using hand tools and basic machinery, following standard procedures.
  • Assist in preparing materials and components for assembly.
  • Inspect assembled filters or parts for obvious defects or inconsistencies.
  • Report any quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Organize and manage materials and components needed for filter assembly.
  • Track and document material usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, defects, and material usage.
  • Log and record units produced to include a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded material/parts.
  • Report any issues with machinery, tools, or materials to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned.
