About The Position

The Filling Pharmacy Technician will work along the conveyor to ensure prescription add-ons are processed accurately and efficiently. They will also support inventory activities. As well, this individual will ensure orders are packaged properly to be shipped out to patients. This Technician will be expected to personify our Core Values each day and be committed to deliver on our Patient Promise.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma /GED required
• Must be able to work a standard day shift schedule Monday through Friday 6am until 2:30pm CT.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a pharmacy environment, preferred
• Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferred
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, preferred
• If not registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, must be willing to obtain a registration status upon hire

Responsibilities

• Processing prescriptions at designated filling station located along the conveyor belt
• Maintain the accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment
• Responsible for stocked received pharmacy inventory
• Maintain filling station cleanliness and organization
• Ensure filling station is properly stocked at all times
• Packaging orders to be shipped out to patients
• Monitor station queues
• Maintain appropriate level of quality assurance to meet patient needs
• Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients
• Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues

• Other duties as assigned
