Shift: 2nd (2pm - 10:30pm) Monday - Friday schedule subject to change based on ongoing union bids Pay: $22.90 (Bi-weekly) + $0.75 shift differential Location: 7501 Page Ave St. Louis, MO Hire Type: Direct/Full Time

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, and machine instruction manuals.
  • Basic math, writing and data entry skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of or experience working with liquid filling machinery, pumps, valves, piping and/or cGMP's.
  • Previous experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for daily set up and operation of the complete filling and packaging lines consisting of the sponges, pouches, vials, caps, labels, inkjet code dater and check weights in accordance with product requirements.
  • Is responsible for notifying supervisor or other authorized personnel of the need for packaging supplies or other materials for the packaging line.
  • Is responsible for correct hose hookups and operating of control panels which control the flow of materials to packaging line.
  • Is responsible for meeting production schedules as outlined by supervision and for keeping written and electronic records as required.
  • Under the direction and monitoring of department supervisor, must be capable of training a replacement if required.
  • Is responsible for setup and minor maintenance of all filling line equipment and will assist maintenance as necessary.
  • Must be capable of performing proper palletization of finished or unfinished products and storing them in an appropriate location.
  • Must exercise extreme caution in order to not damage other material or property while operating moving equipment and must at all times exercise extreme caution for the safety of other employees.
  • Is responsible for the proper filling, sealing, weighing, capping, casing labeling, and inkjet (coding of all products).
  • Is responsible for the setup and adjustment of equipment when changing over various size containers on the filling lines.
  • Is responsible for the adjustment of weights for various size containers on the filling lines.
  • Is responsible for turning in a written/electronic record of daily production along with other appropriate documentation as required by management.
  • Is responsible for keeping equipment and surrounding work area neat, tidy and disinfected at all times.
  • Is responsible for marking production waste containers.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Leads or Supervisors.
