About The Position
Operates and monitors equipment for media preparation, purification, and aseptic operations, and ensures adherence to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines in biochemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Preparing media, fermentation, cell culture, buffer solutions, purification, aseptic operations, cleaning and preparation of autoclaves, glassware and components.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, batching, and monitoring of tanks and fermenters.
- Operating filtration, fill-finish, and liquid chromatography equipment.
- Operating computers for process control and data entry
- Following standard operating procedures and GMP guidelines.
- Recognizing and reporting abnormal events or circumstances.
