About The Position

The Filler Operator position is a full-time role based at the Dallas Plant in Dallas, TX. The operator will be responsible for cleaning, setting up, operating, and monitoring filler equipment, ensuring quality checks and documentation are completed, and collecting samples for Quality Assurance testing. The role requires monitoring weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product, making adjustments to filler timing, and troubleshooting basic to moderate operating difficulties. The operator will also perform equipment changeovers safely and maintain adherence to food safety and quality system requirements.

Requirements

• One or two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting process data and equipment performance.
• Basic math competency required to perform calculations.
• Minimum age: 18.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Overtime and working on holidays are often required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment.
• Complete all required quality checks and documentation.
• Collect the required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product.
• Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check vat as needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Perform filler equipment and filler line changeovers for the next run safely.
• Working knowledge with wrapper operations; watch for jams and effectively thread product wrap.
• Complete the cleaning checklist once the line has completed the run.
• Follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures and report any deficiencies.
• Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
• Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
