About The Position

The Filler Operator at California Natural Products is responsible for operating multiple machine systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining a State of California Filler Operator's license. This role requires technical expertise in operating filling machines and wine systems, as well as leadership in managing the filling line operations. The Filler Operator must actively participate in the maintenance of equipment and uphold the quality of the produced product while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret MSDS sheets

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to OSHA, Manufacturer and CNP safety standards.
• Operate the Filling Machine / Wine System in compliance with operational standards.
• Gain and maintain current technical knowledge required to operate Filling Machines / Wine System.
• Demonstrate DE skills and operating knowledge of laser, accumulators, cappers, case packers, diagraph, & conveying systems.
• Lead the line pair to achieve optimal safety, quality, LU/LE, and minimize waste.
• Conduct package integrity during production according to quality inspection process and take necessary corrective action.
• Train other operators in all proper procedures and best practices.
• Fill out and maintain real-time state machine logs and all CNP documentation.
• Use data collected to analyze and drive machine/quality continuous improvement actions.
• Manage a variety of critical tasks in a sequence that maintains production.
