About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in dairy.
• Understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, HACCP, etc.).
• Strong math skills and proficient written communication skills.
• Technical skills to operate and understand equipment controls and mechanical operations.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Good attendance record.

• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch filling and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) without deviation.
• Collect routine product samples and perform pouch fill weight inspections.
• Inspect pouch fitment for integrity and seals for defects to meet quality specifications.
• Set up and use appropriate pouches and fitments according to the production schedule.
• Set up coders and validate product codes as per specifications.
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification products or equipment conditions.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and complete production records accurately.
• Conduct equipment change-overs, clean-up, and set-up as required.
• Support internal and external audits and follow established health and safety procedures.
• Cross-train with other departments and maintain good housekeeping practices.
