About The Position

Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Geismar, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, hardworking fill plant employee to join our team!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSD).
• Physical ability to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs regularly and occasionally lift over 76 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull liquid containers weighing up to 1000 lbs with material handling equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all four seasons.

Responsibilities

• Fill propane and other gases as required.
• Handle and operate tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fill plant.
• Comply with safety regulations and standards.
