About The Position

Under the limited supervision of the Office Manager/Office Coordinator performs various clerical duties to facilitate and provide quality patient care in an outpatient setting. May communicate with patients ranging in age from infancy to late adulthood. Job Description Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make AMH the hospital of choice for patients and employees. Maintains medical records (including inactive records) in an organized fashion to ensure all information is available for physician/staff reference in order to provide high quality care. Performs clerical duties using good organizational skills to service the needs of the patient/staff/physician/insurance agencies/other. Performs receptionist duties as backup to assigned personnel to maintain office coverage. Maintains organized work environment to maximize productivity and efficiency. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • 0-1 years medical office experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Professional conduct and appearance, interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills.
