About The Position

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a full-time Fielder in support of a large-scale Telecommunications project. In addition, you will: Fielder will complete site visits within the given market Take legible field notes for the design of construction drawings in aerial, buried, underground, and building applications Analyze work site and design requests, then determine the scope of work to be completed Deliver projects within timeline and ensure quality of work completed Pay attention to detail and communicate any concerns or updates with the OSP Designer Interact with internal and external customers, representing MasTec and our client in a professional manner Adhere to all company safety practices and policies
Requirements
- Understanding of Telecom, Fiber, and Outside Plant preferred, but not required
- Relevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction, is also considered
- Excellent communication for daily interaction with various teams
- Above-average penmanship for hand-drawn field notes
- High school diploma and completed courses from technical school or community college preferred, but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Having a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation, is required
- Willing to be trained and adapt to changing industry trends; continue education for Engineering design and best practices
- Work schedule to match the hours of our customers and meet deadlines
- Requires outdoor site visits in various weather conditions, plus remote work availability
- Dress appropriately and meet safety standards while on-site
