About The Position

The position involves working as a Field Worker for broccoli harvesting in Blythe, CA. Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience in broccoli harvest.
• Ability to lift up to 30-55 pounds frequently.
• Proficient in using hand tools, including cutting knives.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in bent or stooped positions and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Harvest broccoli by cutting, bunching, packing, and loading in the field.
• Clean equipment and maintain the field by picking up trash and weeding.
• Unload product onto the line, pack product, apply stickers, and stack product in the shed.
• Check quality, fill out paperwork, and receive orders for production as a Crew Lead.
• Set up machines, check for water and diesel, and supply cartons for the day.
• Perform general labor tasks such as weeding, transplanting, and ranch maintenance.
• Drive and control tractors in the fields as an Agricultural Equipment Operator.
• Clean and pressure wash restrooms on farms/fields as a sanitation worker.
