About The Position

As a Field Training Officer at Securitas, you will coordinate and deliver training programs for security officers and other employees. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company training requirements. You will be responsible for training security personnel, providing a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, and helping to safeguard people, property, and information. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and clear driving history.
• Minimum 2+ years of training experience required.
• At least 4 years of experience in the security industry.
• Proven ability to lead, build, and motivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong decision-making and independent judgment skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and security-related information clearly across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to travel as required, up to 50% of the time, occasionally with limited notice.
• Proficient in basic computer programs and systems.
• Committed to delivering exceptional service with a client-focused mindset and strong ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training programs for security officers and other employees.
• Ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company training requirements.
• Conduct conflict resolution and de-escalation training.
• Implement training and development initiatives in both classroom and hands-on settings.
• Secure entrances and patrol inside and outside the client's premises.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Report any suspicious activity clearly and quickly.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
