The Field Training Manager ensures a safe and knowledgeable work environment for employees, supporting and growing our business in order for each guest to have an outstanding experience while reinforcing our company standards. Responsibilities: The Field Training Manager is responsible for training company employees to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively deliver optimum performance, while maintaining company standards and following operational processes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in a training role
  • Ability to regularly travel within the assigned regional area
  • Ability to travel to all states of company operation as needed
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
  • Proficient in technologies and equipment used in car wash operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including some weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons (heat of the summer, cold of the winter)
  • Be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Physically able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, step to perform job duties
  • Ability to carry, lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
  • Alert and able to maneuver around moving vehicles and equipment
  • Safely climb and maneuver a 12ft ladder
  • Respond quickly to sounds
  • Move safely over uneven terrain and in confined spaces
  • See clearly and respond to dangerous situations
  • Must have the ability to be engaged with all ModTeam members and customers while on site
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 90%

Responsibilities

  • Train the managers and team members on all technical aspects of the site operation
  • Train the managers and team members on the daily and weekly tunnel operations checklist
  • Train the managers and team members on preventative maintenance
  • Train the managers and team members on daily operations, including open and closing checklists, sales opportunities (on-site and within the community), customer service responsibilities, and working as a team
  • Train the managers and team members on administrative requirements and using available company systems
  • Schedule and train field managers on troubleshooting technical problems with equipment
  • Train managers and team members to become subject matter experts at their site in order to conduct new employee trainings.
  • Assist in improving the training curriculum through development and implementation of content based on experience and employee feedback
  • Develop talent through designated career path programs and personal mentorship
  • Provide company and training resources that assist the site in driving top and bottom-line results
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
