Overview The Field Trainer is responsible for the successful training and support of franchise teams during new store openings. The Field Trainer is the subject matter expert on Smoothie King brand requirements and standards and plays a crucial role in setting the store up for success. The Field Trainer ensures team members are motivated and properly trained and possess the skills, knowledge, and ability to deliver a consistent and high-quality guest experience. Provide guidance and support during pre-opening and early stages of development for new store openings, working closely with the Franchisee and management to address training-related challenges, new store operational procedures, reinforce procedures, and achieve the store opening date. Conduct in-person training sessions for both new and existing team members, including hands-on demonstrations, role-playing exercises, and practical on-the-job training. Monitor and evaluate team member performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, including food preparation techniques, service delivery, cleanliness, and compliance with brand policies and health/safety regulations. Build rapport and foster a positive and engaging learning environment, promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and team member development. Create a training summary after each store opening to include analysis of business trends and observations of the team’s skills. Review findings and recommendations for improvement with Franchisee and Operations Consultant. Contribute to the continuous improvement of training effectiveness and processes based on feedback and identified training gaps or opportunities. Collaborate with the training department and management to develop comprehensive training programs tailored to new restaurant openings. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to restaurant operations and training methods. Stay informed about local health and safety regulations and ensure that training materials and procedures are in compliance. Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying brand values and culture while representing the brand during training sessions and new store openings.
