We are hiring Field Tester I and Field Tester II positions to join our Verification & QA Team in Mendon, Utah. These roles focus on ensuring the quality of ASI's autonomous software through extensive vehicle and simulation testing. You will work closely with various teams to execute test plans and validate our software. Field Tester I focuses primarily on vehicle testing, while Field Tester II involves additional simulation testing and scalability validation.

Requirements

  • Software/Hardware Testing experience preferred.
  • Courses in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues.
  • Familiar with regression and general testing protocols.
  • Experience in teamwork and individual accountability.
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions.
  • Software Testing experience required for Field Tester II.
  • Ability to understand and execute basic scripting languages for Field Tester II.
  • Experience working with simulation environments for software scalability testing for Field Tester II.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans against autonomous vehicles.
  • Work with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
  • Analyze and report on defects found during testing.
  • Perform test execution in lab and field environments.
  • Lift and carry test equipment regularly.
  • Conduct advanced testing in various environments, including onsite, lab, and autonomous vehicle settings.
  • Understand and execute basic scripting languages for test automation and data analysis.
