This role involves planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of Lockheed Martin products on appropriate ship platforms, potentially supporting programs like Aegis, Coast Guard, and LHA. A primary focus will be on Machinery and Control Systems (MCS) on LHA (Landing Helicopter Assault) ships, with some work on EXCOM. The engineer will work with the ship lead to meet customer milestones and requirements for shipboard system test solutions, solve hardware/software interface problems, define shipboard input/output parameters, and ensure system integration from installation through trials and ship delivery. Coordination with subsystem and/or system test key stakeholders is required to identify shipboard defects. The role includes performing analysis of test results, making daily comprehensive entries/reports to verify and validate system performance, and working with the system ship-lead to identify discrepancy and performance issues. Integration regression testing will be conducted to verify/validate incorporated fixes. US Citizenship and a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance are required.
