About The Position

We are looking for a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Tampa, FL area who has a strong desire to resolve technical issues, is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently while providing support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products. Are you ready to be the face of an exciting technical organization? No desk here! Your day will be spent supporting our customers in your region. We will supply you with the tools needed for success: a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support.

Requirements

• Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High-Speed Internet, Satellite TV, Digital TV, Telecom, CATV, MATV, Head-end, RF, Networking and/or Computer Troubleshooting.
• High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in relevant fields.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on SONIFI products.
• Communicate thoughtfully and professionally with hospitality and healthcare customers.
• Adapt to changing priorities and requests from customers.
• Drive a company vehicle to support customers in the assigned region.
• Handle occasional travel outside of the assigned area.
• Be available for on-call duties and occasional overtime and weekend work.
