About The Position
Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc., a nationally recognized seismic consulting company, is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team at our Hazleton, Pennsylvania location. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to various worksites, including homes, construction locations, mines, and other structures, to conduct pre and post-blast inspections. You will perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage the installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of service equipment, and provide support to the area manager as well as service and support to customers. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and the capability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience using video and digital cameras and be proficient in computer and technical skills. While experience or a degree in Geology, Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred, it is not required. A valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation are essential, as you will be traveling in your personal vehicle to job sites.
