You’ll ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining strong working relationships with growers and team members in the field and at the branch.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience and at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Forklift experience (certification provided on the job) and willingness to operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge of fabrication ( e.g. welding) techniques and machine calibration
  • Physical ability to repetitively bend and lift 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and desire to work overtime during busy seasons
  • Class A CDL is preferred but not High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, transport, and operate agricultural equipment safely in customers’ fields.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on trucks, tractors, tanks, and ag equipment.
  • Move and install fertilizer tanks using proper materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized facility and comply with all company and legal operating standards.
  • Respond to customer questions and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Represent Wilbur-Ellis professionally and build strong relationships with growers and team members.
