About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Support Technician to support a large-scale PC refresh project across the state of Florida. This is a hands-on, road-based role — you will be traveling to multiple client sites throughout Florida for weeks at a time, deploying and configuring new hardware, and ensuring a smooth transition for end users. If you thrive in a fast-paced field environment, work well independently, and take pride in getting equipment up and running efficiently, this role is for you.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on IT field support or deployment experience
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and standard imaging and deployment processes
• Experience with hardware installation including desktops, laptops, docking stations, and peripherals
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — accurate documentation is a must
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for end-user interactions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving project environment
• Must be comfortable with extended statewide travel and flexible scheduling
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, or similar deployment tools
• Prior experience supporting large-scale hardware refresh or deployment projects

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and install PCs, laptops, and peripherals across multiple client sites statewide
• Perform data migration, imaging, and OS installation as part of the refresh process
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site and escalate when necessary
• Maintain accurate asset documentation and hardware inventory throughout the project
• Provide basic end-user support and guidance during device transitions
• Coordinate with project leads and internal teams to ensure deployments stay on schedule
• Travel to multiple sites per week throughout Florida, with extended travel periods of several weeks at a time
