Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
  • Passion for Environmental Safety (driven by a commitment to safety, protecting the community and preventing harm)
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Superb Customer Service skills
  • Communication Skills (ability to accurately relay findings and convey information)
  • Attention to Detail (being vigilant and staying focused while working)
  • Physical Stamina (endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely outdoors)
  • Personal vehicle for daily work use (for some positions)
  • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk several miles per day
  • Ability to carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting, detecting, and preventing natural gas leaks
  • Working independently after training, showing off time management & problem-solving skills
  • Navigating any natural gas incidents and using training to implement the proper solution
  • Providing superb customer service, being professional & responsive to clients
  • Accurately relaying findings and conveying information
  • Being vigilant and staying focused when locating leaks
  • Performing tasks effectively and safely outdoors

  • Competitive Compensation: $21.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days
