About The Position

On-Site Health & Safety is seeking Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians (Field Technicians) to work in occupational health & safety. This dynamic role offers an alternative to traditional clinic or hospital settings, providing diverse skills and opportunities for growth. Field Technicians will respond to various worksites, from construction to refineries, making a real impact by ensuring health and safety compliance, providing first aid and incident reports, performing health screenings, and drawing blood when certified. The company, established in 1996, has expanded from California to over 20 states, with a mission to "We keep America working by being On-Site." This position offers career advancement and transfer flexibility, with options for full-time, part-time, and flexible (PRN) work schedules.

Requirements

  • Education or experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
  • Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
  • Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances

Responsibilities

  • Gain diverse skills, responding to various worksites from construction to refineries in a company vehicle
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Provide first aid and incident reports
  • Perform health screenings
  • Draw blood when certified
  • Communicate excellently, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly
  • Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances
