The Field Technician position is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of water, soil and air samples to and from the laboratory. As a field technician you will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, hold time, and turnaround time for all recieved and delievered samples and materials assigned to the lab. This is an exciting fast paced field position that will request the abillity to drive repeatedly throughout your scheduled day. Prepare and deliever bottle orders to clients following the standard operating procedure of the lab. Receive and stock all sample control supplies, prepare and ship sample kits and perform sampling events as needed. Dispose of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines and carry out any other duties assigned by the department manager. Assists with routine and non-routine sampling, monitoring, and data collection activities in support of environmental monitoring programs and client service requests
