About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Field Technician to join their Nalco Water team in White, GA. Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, focuses on helping customers conserve water and deliver innovative solutions across various industries, including food & beverage, mining, and manufacturing. The role involves monitoring and maintaining air and water quality systems at a solar panel manufacturing site. The ideal candidate is a passionate technical professional who enjoys customer interaction and thrives in an autonomous, hands-on environment, providing problem-solving support to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
• Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity

Nice To Haves

• Experience working independently in an industrial setting
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance
• Mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience)
• Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer
• Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processes in accordance with established procedures
• Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Perform daily process application quality analysis using small intricate parts
• Provide routine and special application service support to customers
• Execute required chemistry tests
• Log and report data
• Maintain product inventories
• Provide technical support to customers
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed
• Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity
• Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks
