As an environmental Field Technician , you will play a vital role in safeguarding our environment by collecting samples and monitoring potential pollution sources. Your work will contribute to ensuring public health and ecosystem well-being, making a real difference in the world. As a Field Technician , you will have a weekly routine driving route 2-4 days a week where you will collect and analyze field samples.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • HS Diploma Required
  • Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently drive assigned routes, arriving at designated locations for customers on time.
  • Collect samples of water and soil for laboratory analysis.
  • Perform on-site testing and analysis of samples in a field setting.
  • Load and unload laboratory samples and field equipment
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies while operating a company vehicle.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Laboratory work: Assist senior technicians and scientists with more complex laboratory procedures.
