About The Position

On-Site Health & Safety is seeking Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians (Field Technicians) to work in occupational health & safety. This dynamic role is ideal for EMTs, Paramedics, LVNs, or other medical professionals looking for an alternative to traditional clinic or hospital settings. Field Technicians gain diverse skills by responding to various worksites, from construction to refineries, utilizing a company vehicle. On-Site Health & Safety, established in 1996, has expanded across 20+ states with a mission to "keep America working by being On-Site." The position offers opportunities for career advancement and transfer flexibility, focusing on ensuring health and safety compliance, providing first aid, incident reporting, performing health screenings, and drawing blood when certified.

Requirements

  • Education or experience as an EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Or with additional in-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
  • Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly
  • Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances

Responsibilities

  • Respond to various worksites from construction to refineries
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Provide first aid and incident reports
  • Perform health screenings
  • Draw blood when certified
