Field Technician (Building Inspections - Temporary Project)
About The Position
Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician for a 9-12 month inspection project in Valdosta, Georgia to join our team. This position is available immediately and will report to our Snellville, Georgia office. As a Field Technician, you will stay near the project site and conduct pre-construction inspections and generate reports. The role requires a balance of fieldwork and office tasks. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with homeowners and have good communication skills. Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. is a leading construction consulting firm specializing in pre-construction home inspections, seismic monitoring, and community outreach. Our team ensures that the impact of construction on surrounding properties is minimized by documenting pre-existing conditions and operating advanced seismographic equipment. Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, inspecting, or related fields is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document conditions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-construction inspections to document the condition of homes and surrounding properties of Valdosta, Georgia
- Accurately record inspection data and prepare detailed reports for clients
- Communicate with homeowners to explain the inspection process and address any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and data integrity
- Work a combination of office and field hours, with flexibility as needed
