About The Position
Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has immediate openings for a construction materials testing Field Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of standard test methods for field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation, and field concrete sampling and testing.
Requirements
- Soils field testing experience
- Current radiation user safety certificate
- Experience with field testing of concrete
- Current ACI Field Tech I and/or NAQTC certifications in sampling and density, aggregates, asphalt
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
- Current valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction inspection
- Experience in soils and materials testing
- Appropriate field certification
Responsibilities
