About The Position

On-Site Health & Safety is seeking Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians (Field Technicians) to work in occupational health and safety, moving beyond traditional clinic or hospital settings. This dynamic role involves responding to diverse worksites, from construction to refineries, utilizing a company vehicle. The company, established in 1996, has expanded across 20+ states with a mission to "keep America working by being On-Site." Field Technicians gain diverse skills, contribute to health and safety compliance, and have opportunities for career advancement and flexible work arrangements including full-time, part-time, and flexible (PRN) options, with the benefit of eliminating commute by clocking in and out from home.

Requirements

  • Education or experience as an EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Or with additional in-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
  • Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
  • Be an excellent communicator, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly
  • Be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances

Responsibilities

  • Respond to various worksites from construction to refineries
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Provide first aid and incident reports
  • Perform health screenings
  • Draw blood when certified
