About The Position

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be the face of our products and services, delivering essential and innovative technology to our customers. This entry-level role involves working in the field, where you will install and repair services, educate customers on the use of their Spectrum services and equipment, and provide world-class customer service. You will perform installations, disconnects, downgrades, and upgrades for residential customers, all while ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires working outdoors in various conditions and locations, using hand tools, and operating a company vehicle. You will receive comprehensive training to equip you for success in this role.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Problem-solving skills with a technical aptitude
• Ability to accurately measure distances using measuring tape
• Experience with hand tools
• Strong communication and professionalism skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Critical thinking abilities
• Ability to interpret analytics from meters and handheld devices
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Physical ability to walk over various terrains and lift up to 90 lbs
• Valid Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Install and repair services for residential customers
• Educate customers on the proper use of Spectrum services and equipment
• Perform installations, disconnects, downgrades, and upgrades
• Provide world-class customer service during daily interactions
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a field-oriented role
• Navigate various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment
