What You’ll Be Doing As a Field Technician / Spotter, you’ll play a critical role in supporting field operations by safely operating and assisting with heavy equipment on active job sites. Your responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety and site protocols
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Oil and Gas field experience
  • CDL (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting heavy equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation
  • Operating equipment such as front loaders, trackhoes, mini excavators, and cranes
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials around job sites
  • Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs
  • Reporting equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors
  • Assisting field crews with spotting and general site support
