About The Position

FIELD TECHNICIAN II RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform maintenance, training, mechanical, electronics, and IT networking related sustainment. • Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices. • Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems. • Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. • Modifies circuitry to improve performance. • Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems. • May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel. • Performs preventative maintenance. • Execute installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and perform preventive maintenance actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Elevated Sensors family of systems. • Detect, isolate, and correct faults in hardware systems and individual components. QUALIFICATIONS • Associate’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. EXPERIENCE • 1-3 years of directly related experience supporting engineering operations. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Requirements
