About The Position

As a full-time Field Technician in Stockton, CA you will play a pivotal role in groundbreaking projects that impact our environment and communities, all while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals in a supportive atmosphere. As a Field Technician at Condor Earth, you venture into the community, primarily conducting Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) Program Inspections services in compliance with various municipal requirements, including interacting with facility personnel, determining facility compliance with FOG Ordinance requirements, measurement of grease interceptors, and implementing enforcement procedures. The majority of your time will be in the field visiting facilities throughout the workday. Daily, you communicate with clients and facility personnel, forging connections that bolster your commitment to a safer, cleaner environment, making each day both fulfilling and impactful. While in the office, your day is a blend of science and discovery, where you collaborate with other environmental staff to prepare reports and communicate results. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in conducting fieldwork within the environmental industry
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience with conducting facility inspections
  • Experience interacting with facility personnel
  • Experience determining compliance to environmental regulations
  • Experience implementing enforcement procedures
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk for periods of time
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or crouch down
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive a company provided vehicle
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to accept responsibility
  • Ability to perform work accurately
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to pay attention
  • Ability to stay organized
  • Ability to complete projects within given deadlines
