About The Position
Join Midco as a Field Technician, where you will be the face of our company, working with cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional customer service. As a Field Technician, you will perform basic service installations, disconnects, and changes for both residential and business customers. You will drive a company vehicle and wear company clothing, ensuring you represent Midco professionally at all times. Your responsibilities will include performing installation work for voice, video, and data services, troubleshooting and repairing services from the tap to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), and maintaining accurate records of your daily activities. You will also promote Midco's services, educate customers on their use, and ensure that all installations meet the highest standards of quality. In this role, you will be required to complete the Midco First Time Right Broadband I certification within your first 90 days of employment, adhering to the principles of First Time Right in all aspects of your work. You will manage customer interactions effectively, especially in difficult situations, and respond promptly to service requests. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to follow Midco's safety program and operate all equipment safely.
